"Nobody knows when they are going to need this help.  That's what life's all about. This is what the Martin Luther King Center is for. Don't be afraid to accept help, it's the first step to getting your life back on track."

This is a monthly service for our home bound neighbors and people who are otherwise unable to come to the MLK's on-site food pantry. If you can't make it to the pantry, the pantry will come to you.

The folks we serve in Food 2 Friends shop each month through a mail-in order form, and a volunteer shops for them and delivers their groceries to their doorstep.

or while supplies last

First come, first served. Located outside the MLK Community Center.

Newport Heights:

Every Thursday during the growing season, we offer fresh produce free of charge to anyone in Newport County. The weekly inventory varies depending on what we glean from the Aquidneck Grower's Market, what we purchase through a collaboration with German Farm, what we receive from the RI Community Food Bank, what is donated from Jamestown Community Farm, and what is donated from our Grow A Row gardeners (community & private gardens).
